How We Work

We like to be well prepared for your wedding day beforehand. We will ask you to provide certain essential information, and will then meet up with you to discuss your ideas and the details of the day.

You've taken a huge amount of care in the editing: there's really nice use of cut-aways between shots, as well as nice wides for scene-setting. You've also done very well in capturing some candid moments from people which are very funny... All in all, a superb job!

On the day itself I was very impressed with the discretion that you both showed. I was also extremely impressed you had a steady-cam rig for filming the first dance!! That extra gear, plus the way you conducted yourselves prompted several of the guests to ask if you were some of my professional broadcasting colleagues!"

Feel free to call us as often as you need in the run-up to the wedding, as you think of questions, adjust plans, or come up with ideas. Speak to us on skype or add us on Facebook; basically, let's be friends! The more contact we have, the better we get to know you both and get a feel for your personalities and tastes. Schedule and distance permitting we will attend your rehearsal. If this is not possible, we will ensure that we visit the venue at another time.

We will NOT be intrusive in your ceremony, even on a multi-camera shoot. We are experienced in both civil and church weddings and officiators are always impressed with the way we work. We are friendly and approachable and try to build a good rapport with your guests so they are comfortable with our presence.

In the editing process our creative skills come to the fore. We edit meticulously to create a beautiful film that will not look dated in a few years. Effects are used only if they will enhance the material, never just to show what we can do. We pay for copyright licenses both for recording live music during the day, and for using the music you choose for us to edit to. We don't use cheesy 'copyright free' music!
